GODHEAD's JASON MILLER Purchases Recording Studio
May 14, 2004GODHEAD frontman Jason Miller has just purchased a building which houses a sound stage and recording studio in North Hollywood, CA. Miller acquired the facility with Oolie Hepperlin (a.k.a. Method, GODHEAD bassist and programmer) and Julian Beeston (former drummer for NITZER EBB, and currently a popular recording engineer). Beeston will manage the studio with Method, while Miller will be overseeing the entire operation.
Central Command Studios is located at 5760 Tujunga Ave. in North Hollywood and houses a 3,000-foot soundstage, five project studios as well as a state-of-the-art recording studio. The recording studio features the latest in recording technology, including HD 3 Pro-Tools, Control 24 Board, 5.1 Surround Sound Tannoy digital monitors, high-end analog pre-amps and compressors, 32 inputs and outputs, fully integrated avid video I/O, and two recording rooms with plasma screen video distribution throughout both recording rooms and control room.
"I spend so much of my time in recording studios," Jason explains, "between writing, demoing up and recording my own music, doing voice-overs, writing with other people and producing bands, that this was a logical step for me to take."
GODHEAD are just returning from a European tour. They begin a U.S. tour with ORGY next week which will go through the beginning of June. The band are currently promoting their latest release, "Evolver", on Reality Entertainment.
